OBP — Orange beverage powder gin ‘Screech’

PTP Beverage Type I MK.1 Gin OBP -"Orange Beverage Powder" takes its inspiration from one of the more distinctive elements of the British military ration pack: the powdered fruit drink.

 Known affectionately by servicemen for its unmistakable, intensely fruity flavour, these brightly coloured powders became a familiar part of field life and developed their own reputation.

OBP pays homage to that uniquely military experience, taking the unmistakable taste of fresh orange and combining it with a smooth gin base.

 The result is a modern interpretation of the classic ration-pack beverage, sharp, refreshing and unmistakably orange.

The original drink powders were often brightly coloured; Pull The Pin deliberately keeps the liquid clear, although a coloured version could be explored as part of the range.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Clear and bright.

Nose: Fresh, zesty orange with a vibrant citrus aroma. 

Palate: The taste of freshly squeezed oranges hits first, followed by a distinctive sharp citrus kick. Smooth underneath the acidity, with a clean, refreshing character.

Finish: Smooth and lingering, with fresh orange and a gentle citrus sharpness.
